Today's photo of the day was nothing short of fantastic! Absolutely beautiful!!! Wow! totally capture's the essense of skiing.

should be destined to be a Gore classic. wouldn't be surprised if it turns up in their advertising or in the lodge.

while i don't know the Photog, to me he seems to live in his own world. on his own Rhode.

excellent photo!

we should all give him props here for his work.

Nice work Harv,

you do weddings?

The funny thing about skiing with Harvey is that his camera was having problems and he says it is dying. He wasn't sure if it was actually taking photos. He said he wants to spend money on bindings instead of a camera. He's got his priorities right, however, I think he should just suck it up and get both the camera and the bindings....then he can do the weddings too :)

Harv, did you send it to them or did they copy it from this forum?

Thanks for the props folks. Pics from 12/3 and 12/19 were mine too.

I'd sent a few photos to Emily earlier in the season that got credited to Gore staff photog. Then she sent me a note saying that if you upload them here:

http://goremountain.com/mountain/submitPhoto.cfm

it's easier for them and you can get proper credit. It's cool too because you get to write the caption.

Send em in...let's see what you got. Powderqueen...you got some good ones. Anybody else?

EDIT: PQ...you saw my camera...it has been hammered. It all started last year at Whiteface. The battery died while the lens was extended and then, I crashed on it and the lens was all crushed and funky. It works...but it's marginal below about 20 degrees. I love taking the pics but people look at me like I am insane. Your camera is killer...you could buy me one for Christmas or my big Five-0 which is comin right up. :D
