Killington is blowing 147 guns right now. Any word on whiteface? Their website doesn't say anything, and you can't see anything with the cam.

They should put a cam at midstation or something

S4L was at the mountain today. He said that they where blowing snow on Excelsior.

Snowphone right now is saying that theyre blowing snow on excelsior and upper valley with an anticipated opening of the 24th. Gondola and little Whiteface lifts will be running with downloading via the gondi. So it sounds as if theyll have a real solid base, although no top to bottom runs this weekend. But who knows. Either way Im pumped to ride this weekend.

How many guns

Can they run at the same time up there. 53 guns seems like a lot until you hear numbers like 147.

I bet they could run more than 53. During Jan and Feb it seemed they had the entire mountain blowing snow at times.

They actually had that turned off, and I haven't been able to get through to it that way, but if HPD says that it's so then it must be.
