WF.com says the The Slides are open today! Wish I was there. They stipulate that you need an avalanche beacon and shovel to ski them.

And with more snow coming on Saturday, they might be in good shape for spring. I have the week of March 6th off - I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Does anyone know where you can rent the beacons?

I was there yesterday and the slides had been poached, most likely ski patrolers. With the extra 6" I bet theyd be perfect from what I saw yesterday. Bummer I cant rip it up, Ive yet to go in there.
