You got Nordica Hod Rod Top Fuel, great choice. The bootfitter didn't have you down size did he? I remember you said anyone who did that was nuts.

The SM14 is a nice boot, but I like the Hod Rod TF better. The last in the SM is 100, HR is 98. The SM's all have thicker liners, then the race type liner in the HRTFs. All day confort while still great performance I'd go Speedmachine. However, for performance I'd go Hot Rod TF or Dobie Pro 130 (my boots). The only difference between the Dobie Pro 130 and the TF is flex, 130 v 115, and the TF has a booster strap which is a very good thing.
You got the right boot in the right size. You've seen the light.

Speedmachine14 can go between 120 and 130. I thought the Hot Rod was always a set flex. 130 if 2004, 115 since. The new Nitrous has a 100 flex.
